Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 Farm - TCP/IP Port Numbers

  • Ports 3268 (TCP/UDP) and 3269 (TCP/UDP) – Citrix PS 4 farm servers communicating with Active Directory domain controllers – AD Global Catalog.
  • Port 135 (TCP/UDP) – Citrix PS 4 farm servers communicating with the Microsoft Windows 2003 Terminal Server licensing server.
  • Port 27000 (TCP) + Random Port number – Citrix PS 4 servers communicating with Citrix License server. There are two licensing services on the Citrix license server; Port 27000 is listened to by the License Manager Daemon (service) while the Citrix Vendor Daemon (service) chooses to listen on a random available port during the license server’s startup.
  • Port 1433 (TCP/UDP) – Citrix PS 4 farm servers communicating with ODBC Datastore server for published application and server configuration.
  • Port 2512 (TCP/UDP) – Citrix PS 4 farm servers communicating with one another and for relaying load information to the designated Zone Data Collector. This port is also used by Zone Data Collectors in different zones, in the same farm, to keep each other updated on changes to the farm. This is the port number the Independent Management Architecture (IMA) windows service is associated with.
  • Port 2513 (TCP/UDP) – Citrix Management console to server communication.
  • Ports 1494 (TCP/UDP) and 2598 (TCP/UDP) – Citrix client to server farm on port 1494 ICA listener. When session reliability is enabled on the server farm, 1494 traffic is wrapped inside port 2598.
  • Port 80 (TCP) – TCP+HTTP (XML) browsing by Citrix client for servers or published applications.
  • Port 443 (TCP) – SSL+HTTPS browsing and secure connections by client for servers or published applications.
  • Port 8082 (TCP) – Citrix License server management console between remote admin and Citrix license server.
